U.S. Fulbright Program

The Fulbright Program is one of the most widely recognized and prestigious scholarships in the world. The goal is to improve intercultural relations, cultural diplomacy, and intercultural competence through the exchange of persons, knowledge, and skills. Via the program, competitively selected U.S. citizens, including students, scholars, teachers, professionals, scientists, and artists receive scholarships to conduct research, teach, or exercise their talents abroad. Buffalo State proudly participates in this program. Rhodes Scholarship


The Rhodes Scholarships are the oldest and most celebrated international fellowship awards in the world, with the program annually selecting 32 young students from the United States. These Rhodes Scholars are chosen for their outstanding scholarly achievements, as well as for their character, commitment to others and to the common good, and for their potential for leadership in whatever domains their careers may lead.  For more information visit:  Rhodes Scholarship Overview.
